Miles of Golden Sand (44)

Hello Everyone,

Please click on this link to see the much bigger, clearer shot in Beta.

This is Crosby beach famous for its statues by Anthony Gormley which you will be able to see if you click on the Crosby connection.

However, I wanted to show what a marvellous beach there is at this location and only a few miles from the renown, busy port of Liverpool.

The sand seems to stretch for miles and on the occasions that we have visited, it has never been crowded, just a few people swimming, playing with kites or simply walking.

I will add a w/s showing the promenade for those who may be hesitant at walking on the sand.

Thank you for you interest, Bev :-)

This is the prom at Crosby.
Again, you can appreciate how the beach seems to extend for miles; a hidden gem!
