One of the most impressive places in Andalucia:
one of the largest mosques in the world turned into a cathedral.

From wikipedia:
The Mezquita (Spanish for "mosque") of Cordoba is a Roman Catholic cathedral and former Mosque situated in the Andalusian city of Córdoba, Spain. Primarily, the site had borne a temple, then a Christian cathedral. Under the rule of Islam, it was built as the second-largest mosque in the world, and is perhaps the most accomplished monument of the Umayyad dynasty of Cordoba. After the Spanish Reconquista, it was transformed into a church, and partly the Islamic columns and arcs were replaced by a basilica in early Baroque style. Today it houses the main church of the diocese of Cordoba in Spain.

No critiques yet, I wonder why... .

I especially like the viewpoint, which is not the one from which the Mezquita is usually "postcarded".

Pity of the building crane, but just go back there: the current real estate crisis will make any crane disappear... .

Fantastic photo!

The colours and the shadows are very good and the contrast between the river and the ligths is super.

Congratulations and Best Regards from Madrid!

That's a nice picture!!
I like the colours of the picture and the point of view!
With this light it seems a cathedral!
The river give a really good effect on the picture because if the refelxions of the lights!
great :) Hope you enjoyed to be in Spain :)

Czesc Mariusz,
Przymkniecie przyslony do odpowiedniej wartosci dalo ladny, gwiezdzisty efekt. Gratuluje zdjecia!

Witaj Mariusz,
Death to all the cranes that spoil all our photos, one and a thousand times!
Apart from that, interesting POV chosen, and beautiful colours, too much yellowish I thpught at first, but looking at the bridge I understood that the white balance was the correct one.
Fine work!
Have a nice day

Hola amigo Mariusz :

Córdoba is my favorite city of Andalucía,
it has a delight and a magic difficult to describe,
I whenever I go fall in love more of her,
and you have captured a beautiful sight of the Mosque
to another side of the Guadalquivir,
the light and the marvellous tones .....

Saludos y gracias por el regalo.

Witaj Mariusz,

I know this place! .)
Excellent night shot with the coloured and dored elements which arise very well in the black of the night. Superb refelctions too and good balalnce with the arcades of the roman bridge well located on the left.
Best regards,

Cześć Mariusz,
co tu dużo gadać, takie przednocne widoki zawsze wywierają na mnie piorunujące wrażenie...
Granice dnia, to jest to...
A jeszcze obiekt tak wspaniały...
Wspaniały widok !!!
Pozdrowienia Tomek

Magnificent night scene over the Guad-el-Kebir with the most notable monument that symbols this town, Mariusz.
An excelent light management, golden and orange tones are fabulous.
A fine evening shot.

Witaj dear Mariusz

A stunning Blue Hour shot, I love the pastel tones and the golden lights. The water looks like wet cement and the starpoints on the lights on the bridge are really beautiful. I see what you mean about the crane, difficult to clone out. How inconvenient of them to be doing renovations when you were visiting! You think they could have waited.

Thanks for sharing, have a lovely day
