When we went rather slowly along the river to Mrauk u, we could observe the life of people. I liked this small bridge and interesting boats.

Bigger beta picture

The locals seeing four women in a boat (to say nothing of the guide) were very interested.

Hello Malgo

Simple everyday life scene from southern Myanmar.
Classic composition and good reflections.

Benny

Hi Malgorzata
Nice scenery, unique culture and perfect reflection of the houses blended with rich colour, great clarity and human input. Well done.
Best regards

Dear Malgo,

You showed us a really beautiful postcard from the region. I particularly like the reflections.

Best Wishes,
Gy.

Hello Malgo,
It is interesting and beautiful to see the villages from the river. Everything is viewed from a different angle.
The river will undoubtedly play an important role in the daily lives of these people.
Looking at the picture in the WS I get the impression that some men seem to have it cold. Was it cold there in December?
Best regards, Paul

Hello Malgo,
An interesting human environment of a kind that not even the average tourists in Asia would often see. Probably you and your group were as interesting to the locals as they were to you. Especially the main photo has many fine details and wonderfully saturated colours. At the time of my two visits to Burma in the early 70's it was impossible to stay more than a week at a time, and only a few places were open to tourists, so this area was out of reach.
Kind regards,
Gert

Czesc Malgorzata,
Naprawde wspaniala prezentacja ukazujaca zycie na birmanskiej prowincji.
Fantastyczna jakosc, ktora mozna zobaczyc w pelnej rozdzielczosci.
Pozdrawiam
Janusz

Hi Malgo,

The reflections on the water are assets to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the bridge, of the house and of the boat. The light is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

Hi Malgo
yes, I got the city mixed up on my Great Wall of India post, the closest city is Udaipur not Jaipur...they sound and spell similar, I got them mixed up. as for your shot here, I always enjoy these rustic scenes of simple life...simple but hard, but I suppose its all subjective. I would prefer to live where I am now haha. the best part of the photo for me is the boat. cheers
Craig

Hello Malgo,
The composition is superb and very well balanced with the houses and boat at right and the bridge and palm trees at left. The reflections in the foreground are most appealing and very nicely distorted in the small ripples. I like the fine and natural colours.
Lars

Bonjour, chère Malgo,
Excellent le lien montrant les habitants amusés de voir passer une embarcation à majorité féminine !
Le dépaysement est total et bien agréable.
Amitiés.
Philippe

Hello, Malgo!

This humble wooden bridge looks very nice, and you captured the scene with beautiful reflections on the water! Excellent light and sharpness, and I also like this boat perfectly positioned on the right of the image! Well done!

Hello Malgo, an interesting observation as you travelled slowly upriver.
The people animate the scene as they cross the frail looking bridge.
Everything in the shot adds to the flavour of the scene. I especially like the reflections on the water.
Regards Jean.

Ciao cara Malgo, great view of lovely place, fascinating reflections, excellent clarity, wonderful colors, fine details and splendid light, very well done, my friend, have a good week end, ciao Silvio

Hello dear Malgo,
I'd missed this wonderfull capture from Myanmar.
Taken with very good pov and sharpness. Very nice mirroring effects. I couldn't see in your notes but I think that it's an analogue photography.
TFS and have a nice weekend

Hello, nice glimpse to the life close to the river. The little footbridge, the wooden house and pirogue form an attractive setting. Fine colors, good image quality and excellent light, regards.

Ciao Malgo
credo che sia stato divertente per i locali vedere quattro donne che curiosavano.
Belli i colori e belli i riflessi.
Saluti
Carlo

Hi Malgo,

this kind of "house" we have in brazil too in Amazon state is very common. They are called "palafita" here.

Nice capture and colors.
