Again I put some air in my archive. In fact, between Spain and China was only one month gap, and I visited ten towns - when to show them?
Luckily, now I have been chained to computer for longer time, so there will be more of China.

Expo 2008 was an international exposition held in 2008 in Zaragoza, with the theme of "Water and Sustainable Development". The exposition was placed in a meander of the river Ebro.

Zaragoza, is the administrative and financial capital of the autonomous community of Aragon and Spain's fifth most populous city.

The exhibition’s most emblematic buildings were the Water Tower, an 80-metre-high transparent building designed by Enrique de Teresa to evoke a drop of water, Zaha Hadid's Bridge Pavilion, and the river aquarium.

After nine years, some of the buildings are still used, unfortunately Zaha Hadid bridge seems abandoned. probably the aquarium is also closed, I do not know.
I found these pavillons with strong colours very attractive.

The impact is stronger if you see bigger beta picture.

I hope that Sergio (sacimar) will like it, he showed us wonderful pictures from Expo Zaragoza.

Good morning,
Nice minimalist scene with the attractive colored facade bars. The human presence is perfect! Well taken scene.

Bonjour, chère Malgo,
Une composition qui devrait plaire à notre ami Rob.
L'effet est très contemporain avec cet habillage des façades aux couleurs qui claquent comme du linge séchant par grand vent.

Dobar dan.
Lep pogled i trenutak, interesantan i dobar tekst ...
Dobar rad, lepo pokazane fasade, dobar kontrast i perspektiva, lepe boje, lepo uhvacen trenutak.
Interesantne i lepe fasade, lepi detalji. Lepa senka i oblaci.
Zelim vam lep i uspesan dan, sve najbolje.

Good day.
A nice look and a moment, interesting and good text ...
Good work, beautifully shown facades, good contrast and perspective, nice colors, nice moment.
Interesting and beautiful facades, beautiful details. Beautiful shade and clouds.
I wish you a beautiful and successful day, all the best.

Ciao cara Malgo, gran bella sfilata di colori, piacevole prospettiva e ottima nitidezza, brava, un caro abbraccio Silvio

Hello Malgo,
Fantastic colours and fantastic shapes. These buildings are really originally designed, and the man in dark clothes provides some human life. I often wonder how much money is wasted on such expos, and also olympic games and world cups, where many of the buildings and arenas are hardly used afterwards. Couldn't that money be spent on schools and hospitals instead?
Kind regards,

Hello Malgo,
Superb long perspective along these colourfully decorated façades. The man almost entirely dressed in black is perfectly placed, adding a human touch and offering scale. Excellent technical quality. Vanity projects like this are all very well, providing employment during the construction period but more thought should be given as to their long term use, very ironic given the nature of this Expo.

Hello Malgo, the dark fg shadow pushes our eyes towards the bright, bright colours of the building.Yes, the beta version does make the colours seem even brighter.
Deserted except for one man, I am glad for your composition, that he came along!
Regards Jean.

Hello, Malgo!

The colorful architectural details of these buildings look really nice, and make the composition very attractive! The walking man gives more life and interest to the image! Beautiful job!

Hello Malgo,

These building are real amazing and nice for the exposition real innovatory.
An excellent choice of angle, this create depth and perspective.
Sharpness and clarity are perfect.
Very well done, TFS.

Best regards,

Hi Malgo
yes, this city is now on my official list of places to visit.
as a photographer i think i'd be in heaven here.
the colors, the styles, the photos seem endless.
the blue sky up top is an added bonus, adds a little bit more color to the already bright scene. fun to have the man walking past, and those vertical columns are wonderful. quite the eye catcher. cheers

Hello Malgo,

I like it! you captured perfectly this colorful building complex, last time I visited the area most of the offices were empty, I hope this has changed.... good picture!

Best regards,

Hi Malgo,i thought immedialtly to EXPO watching this pic and before to read your note. A very attractive place to create a geometric and colorful composition,it's nice to read that something remains from the expo 2008,while in Milan just the big tower and the italian pavillon are still there, but i don't know their end....have a nice evening and thanks for your pics from Georgia that inspired me! Luciano.

Hello Malgo
I suppose you have to employ a special archivist to order all the pictures of your innumerable travels 😉
The row of colourful pavilions seems like a long row of waves. I only had expected blue colours instead of the red and yellow.
I like your “endless” composition. Excellent work, Groet Rob

Boa foto!

To jest to, czego nie udalo mi sie zobaczyc w Saragossie, a szkoda. bardzo fajnie ujete, kolory sa naprawde optymistyczne, a jeden "ludzki element" wprowadza ociupinke minimalizmu
pozdrawiam Ryszard

Bonjour, chère Malgo,

I did not stop there for more than a few minutes but my train from Barcelona to Madrid did travel through Zaragoza and I liked the little that I saw. Wonderful repetition of patterns and shapes with vibrant color and good sharpness. Tfs!
