I have shown already four beautiful and very interesting bridges I have seen in Spain, but now the most unique, probably the only one like this in the world.
This is Zaragoza’s iconic Bridge Pavilion (Pabellón Puente), designed by Zaha Hadid for Expo 2008. he 270-metre bridge was a major landmark of Expo 2008 and its main entrance, connecting the Expo site to the neighbourhood of La Almozara across the River Ebro. The design of the bridge was inspired by gladioli and the river it crosses, with its enclosed structure offering visitors an escape from Zaragoza’s summer heat. Often cited as one of Hadid’s best works, and the first bridge she completed, one of its remarkable features is that it merges two distinct functions, serving as a bridge and as an exhibition space. It is made of glass fibre reinforced concrete, and was designed with a variety of openings in its skin in order to convey and direct air to provide ventilation.During the Expo, which was organised under the theme of water and sustainable development, the Bridge Pavilion hosted an exhibition entitled ‘Water – a unique resource’, featuring 3,100m2 of exhibition space over two walkways.
I hope to make beautiful shots inside but unfortunately this exceptional construction is closed, as I read in Google, it was open only for a few months last year.

I doubt that anyone will look at Workshops, but here they are:

Hello Malgo,

As far as bridges go, this is a stunner.
To me, it looks like an express train flying over the river.
The light was lovely, you have a figure in the scene and your well judged composition uses opposing diagonals.
A fine photo!

Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Hello Malgo,
Wow, what a fantastic, futuristic looking bridge. It cuts very nicely right across the middle of the photo. I really like the combination of green and blue tones here too. The person is well included.

Czesc Malgosiu!
Fantastyczna konstrukcja, most jest imponujacy.
Znakomity kadr i kolorystyka.
Biegacz ozywia kompozycje.
Milego dnia.

Hello Malgo,
Excellent capture of this most unusual bridge whose upper part is reminiscent of an armadillo. The jogger is well placed in the frame and supplies scale. Agreeable lights and natural colours and very good sharpness.

Hello Malgo,
This bridge is really remarkable and unique, and what a pity you couldn't see the interior. I don't understand why it is not used all the time. It seems like a waste of money. All photos are good in their own way, so basically you could have chosen any of them as a main upload.
Happy Easter,
Gert

Hello Malgo,

Indeed architectural is the bridge very specially, never seen.
The two additional pictures give a wonderful image of the construction of the bridge.
You choose a perfect angle nice in perspective.
Presentation and colours are superb.
Very well done, TFS.

Kindest regards,
John.

Hello Malgo,

A striking contrast to the more traditional architecture and bridges of other cities in Spain. I wonder what the ancient Romans would make of this? Good sharpness and the fg path adds depth and layering to the composition. Tfs!

Ciao Malgo,

Tellement futuriste comme structure que l'on pourrait presque croire à un engin spatial. Tu l'as pris sous le bon angle qui forme une parfaite diagonale.

Amicalement

Hello Malgo ,
Another amazing bridge , so different than the medieval one in your previous post . Not sure that it will be in good condition in several centuries .
The POV , perspective are excellent . Fine bonus of the jogger in blue in the FG .
Regards

Ciao Malgo
Saluti
Carlo

Hi Malgo
well, this is another reason to visit this city with its weird and funky architecture! Bring it on! I really want to visit this city.

and yes, i did view the WS, glad you posted them. It shows the thickness of the bridge and the material its used from quite well.

It really does look like a spaceship has planted itself onto the landscape and just waiting to overtake the humans :)
love the silvery metallic look, it even has a blue tinge to it. awesome post, awesome city, I'm going here next year! I promise!

Leaving for Porto, Lisbon and the Algrave on April 20th! I wish I had more time to visit ALL of portugal, but thats not realistic. I only have 12 days and half of that will be in those 2 cities alone. But perhaps next year I can visit more of Portugal AND go to Spain/Zaragoza in one trip :)

Cheers
Craig

Czesc Malgosiu
Ja tez, pamietam, bylam zachwycona hiszpanskimi starymi i nowymi mostami w Sewilli.
Piekne nasycone kolory trawy i nieba, a biegacz swietnie umieszczony na sciezce prowadzacej w kierunku mostu.
Pozdrawiam z Polski i zycze Wesolych Swiat!

Hello malgo,
Stunning architecture's design for this fantastic bridge, and an immaculate photo taken here.
Besides excellent clarity and the waterfront area on the scene, managed perfectly the depth and almost full length of this masterpiece jewel, with fine allocation of the pic. space.
The one jogger gave human touch to the whole.
Wish you a nice weekend,
Ike

Hello Malgo,

Given the chance, architects will merge bridge to building, buildings to bridges, making life difficult for the engineers.

But the result is stunning.

Lovely shot from this angle.

cheers,

sam

Oi Malgo

Parece que uma grande piton atravessou o seu caminho. Fantastica obra de arte aqui. Gostei do corredor passando embaixo dela também e a grama verde em contraste com a cor do metal.

Parabéns

Ricardo

Hi Malgo
A good note, as introduction to the spectacular view of this fantastic bridge-pavilion, very beautiful the diagonal with which you captured in the plane, with the waters of the Ebro below.
Good perspective of the image, very pleasing to the eye.
Colorful, sharpness and brightness are captured excellently.
Very good composition, magnificent presentation.
Have a good weekend.
Warm greetings.
Luis.

Angel.

Hi Malgorzata,

The length of the bridge is giving depth to the scene. The point of view is showing the details of the modern architecture of the bridge. The good luminosity is enhan cing the ebauty of the colours. Have a nice day.
