Deck of Cards.

This is the famous Deck of Cards Postcard you get when you're in the town of Cobh. I wanted to point out that these houses are NOT the same homes as in my previous post. That last photo was a completely separate grouping on a different street.

This photo was taken on the grounds of the Church, it provides an excellent view. The street seems to go on for infinity :)

I had trouble deciding which photo to post, so what I'll do is simply post another main photo next, as I enjoy both of them equally. The next one is much more close in, zoomed in on just 4 or 5 of the houses. Here we have a wide angle view with the entire street and the beautiful blue sky - which is a bonus here in Ireland :) So why not show it off!

hope you enjoy this one

Hello Craig,
Great view over this row of houses in an amazing diagonal line. I like the coloring of the houses too.
thanks and regards,
Gerrit

Hello Craig,
I like your chosen point of here and the framing offered by the nicely textured stone wall. The buildings on top of the hill are also very attractive to my mind and along with the lovely sky make a fine backdrop to the composition. Excellent technical quality as ever.

Hello Craig,
Your photo could also be from the village of Whaley Bridge (my aunt lived there), well done!

Have a nice day
wolfgang

Hello Craig,
Fantastic choice of POV found. The green lawn and trees far beyond divided by those "Chain-dwelling's" or "Train-housing" as we call such buildings in our language. Admittedly, those on your picture are much nicer. The colors were shining beautifully under the sun. Oblique POV gave good sense of depth.
Cheers,
Ike

Hello Lars,

Very nice view of these tiny and cute houses seems like leaning on each other.

Best Wishes,
Gy.

Bonjour Craig,

Philippe

Hello Craig ,
This line of tiny houses , all similar , is quite funny . The distortion increases the effect .
Splendid light and sky .
Regards

Hello, Craig!

Beautiful view of these colorful houses, and interesting comparison with a deck of cards! Excellent light, colors and sharpness! The sky looks beautiful! Wonderful composition!

Hello Craig,
This could also have been called The Domino Game. It seems that if you would push hard enough on the white building at the top it could overturn every other building all the way downhill. A terrible thought but these buildings really look lined up like domino pieces. It's a very nice view made less monotonous by the different colors. Superb colors and light, but I always take that for granted when you were the photographer.
Best wishes,
Gert

Hello Craig,
What a wonderful town, all the houses with the pointy roofs built against the hill slope make a great view. Some of the owners took some time and paint to get rid of the dull grey concrete of the walls, which adds some really fine colours, nicely brought out by the fine sunlight. The large clouds in the blue sky make a most attractive background.

Hello Craig

Funny effect, liek a deck of cards. I'd never heard of this before, though I did make the connection with your previous post. A cute row of houses well captured.

Benny

Hi Craig,
Fun to see that architecture of every house is similar and clearly designed for a hill. Varying colours make this interesting and indeed this grass field offers a good angle to the buildings.

Hi Craig,a very original small houses serie,to long of your last post,a perfect capture from an excellent POV very sharp and bright! Have a nice week and thanks,Luciano

Hello Craig
Fascinating these long row of almost equal houses. Only the colour is unique of each house.
There are in this situation so many attractive POV that I understand how difficult it is to choose the most attractive.
Excellent picture
Groet Rob

Ciao Craig, great parade of lovely houses, fine details, excellent perspective, wonderful colors and splendid light, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

Hello Craig,
These houses are so photogenic. They are all exactly the same as far as shape, window patterns, and chimneys, but each one still has its own personality and color. With the sunny sky above, and the greenery in the foreground, this is a very nice view.

Ciao Craig
che bella questa sequenza di case con i tetti a punta, simpatiche le facciate di diversi colori, c'è una bella luce e un cielo reso interessante dalle grandi nuvole.
Saluti
Carlo

Hello Craig,

Now the pictures are bigger and it is great. and when you are on the beta page, it is possible to write critique and to see the picture, much better than to see picture in the new window. Beautiful view of this row of small colourful houses. Had you jump over this stone wall to find this excellent POV? Haha, there is even the washing day there. What about the possible rain :). Superb picture, with fantastic colours and sharpness.

Kind regrad s MAlgo

Hello Craig,

Indeed a contorted, colorful deck of cards. You had very good light for this wide-angle shot.

Warm regards,

Bulent

Hello Craig,
The design, even the place of the chimneys and the windows is the same for each house in that street. Only the colour of the facade differs.
But thanks to that diagonal line this is a fantastic view.
I like the remark of Gert about the domino game.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Craig,

The composition is well divided, the sky, the houses and the lawn. The point of view is showing the details of the houses. the good luminosity is making the colours to stand out. Have a nice dya.

Pierre

Hi, Craig.
Surprising and beautiful composition, with this so large alignment of houses, all the same, only changes the color of the facades ideal in woody and green grass, a spectacular sky that is the best complement to the most interesting place.
Sharpness, illumination, color, and magnificent composition are all factors perfectly accomplished in this beautiful image.
Well done. I like very much.
You have a good day.
Best Regards.
Luis.

Hi Craig
Belle prise en diagonale de ces maisons identiques , colorées sous un superbe ciel

Witaj Craig!
Curious view, houses make impression.
Good frame, colors and light.
I like roofs effect.
Warm regards.
Krzysztof

Hello Craig,
How cute! Since each row house is identical, they took great pains to paint every one of them a different color - well, maybe almost every one! It is amazing that there is so much empty space around them, yet they are all squeezed together.
Regards,
MT
