We have a responsibility on coming back home to give an objective profile of the places we visit. I could select photos of rural Iran, of shepherds, of field hands, of people riding donkeys, of mud brick villages, of women covered in chadors, of wandering camels over dry riverbeds... To do so would be to impoverish the idea of what Iran is and of how modern, vibrant and rich in culture and history it really is and how friendly and welcoming the people are towards strangers....
