I have been absent for a few months but am pleased to be back, posting on TrekEarth.
During my absence, my husband bought me a D300 camera, which was a lovely surprise and I am enjoying finding its capabilities. I love the way it performs so much better in poor light.
My D200 has been passed on to a new home and hope that someone will be enjoying it as much as I did.
I have now retired altogether from teaching and have found myself spending much more time on the things I love to do, like walking, playing badminton and, of course, photography.
Although I have only had a digital camera for just over 2 years, the old adage 'You're never too old to learn' certainly applies to me! I feel I have learned an enormous amount from the Trek Sites, and they have helped to keep my enthusiasm sharpened.
I am very much an instinctive photographer rather than a technically adept one, but I am slowly learning how to use my camera to get the best out of it. I know I still have a great deal to learn but am enjoying the journey.
I particularly like to take landscapes, especially around my locality, but am always looking to see if I can get a 'different' aspect on anything of interest.
Please note - I hereby declare that the copyright of all my photos on TrekEarth belongs solely to me. For any request regarding my pictures, feel free to contact me by e-mail.
