Good Morning Everyone,

Please Click on Yellow, Yellow or Yellow! to see the photogrph much bigger and clearer.

When Brian (Timecapturer) used to post, we would regularly see beach scenes and beach huts from his home environment. Recently, there have been few photographs of beach huts.

Maybe I was remembering Brian when I saw these beach huts at Batz. They are very different from British beach huts in design and regularity of colours but, I think it is the overall yellowness of the scene that is the main attraction! Even the seaweed, tumbling over the promenade is yellowish!

It was late afternoon and though the sky was cloudy, it was still relatively bright. (I'm afraid there weren't many days were I could capture 'bright sunshine' on this holiday. On the TV, yesterday, it was comparing September temperatures in 21016 and 2017; in 2016 the top temperature in the U.K. was 34C, in 2017 it was 24C.)
C'est la vie!

Today, the weather is warm and sunny, I hope you have a good day, Bev :-)

Hello Beverley,
Such a great view of the beach with all these beach huts. So many shades of yellow in one photo too! I like the POV you chose, the composition is well balanced and nicely includes the houses (also pastel yellow!) as well.
Lars

hello Beverley
un bon angle de vue sur ces cabines jaunes.
Bon impact visuel
Salutations
Roland

Hi Bev,
Fine composition with those colored huts, quite catchy and perfect for an artistic photograph. Well seen.

Daniel

Hello Bev,
This is an amusing and very attractive composition. I love the many tones of yellow and how the beach huts are lined up below the building with the red window frames. It seems that not one tone is identical to any of the others.
Kind regards,
Gert

Philippe

Hello Beverley,

I'll take yellow then! Excellent sharpness and perspective. Good color and saturation and the cloudy day has compensated ypi with a pleasant diffused light. Tfs!

Hello Bev,
A great pity Brian no longer visits here, I used to look forward to his postings; one of many former members unfortunately. I like the point of view using the line of yellow huts to draw us into the scene. Very good rendering of the colours and detailing despite the insipid sky.
Here we have another showery day with featureless grey skies though reasonably mild. Enjoy your good weather.

Hello Bev,

This type yellow cabines are very old but maybe in excellent condition.
Along the Belgian coast totally forbidden, cabines must are according to the norm of the city.
Nice colours and you play excellent with light, also on the houses in background.
And excellent captured en lovely presentation.
Very well done, TFS.

Best regard,
John

Olá Beverley,
Bem interessante mesmo essas casinhas amarelas, a composição ficou ótima! Belo trabalho.
Parabéns e Abraço,
Lucas

Bonjour Beverly

Il faut croire que le peintre avait beaucoup de jaune sur les bras. C'est pourtant si joli lorsque les couleurs sont variées. Ici, cela ressemble à des boîtes de bois ou à des cercueils.

Amicalement

Serge

There are three different yellow shades on this picture, and the scene is clear and distinct, Beverley.
Chosen well the POV, fine DOF and light management.
Those cabin are not common in Israel, have no idea why.
Good evening,
Ike

Hello Beverley ,
These beach huts could be more picturesque with a variety of colors . But all in yellow : why not ?
Well framed and exposed .
Regards

Hi Bev! These wooden boxes look ugly, still, the great light could meke them appear interesting. They became a real eye catcher. Once again proven, it is the light (and your good framing, of course). Nicely done.

Hello Beverley,
Yes, I remember that Brian posted many pictures of beach huts.
His pictures were often very graphical.
But weren't it usually beach huts in many different colours ?
Perhaps yellow is the new fashion these days ?
Here you really found a long row of huts in different yellowish tones. I have the impression that no two huts have exactly the same colour.
Shouldn't the owners of the houses a bit further paint their facades yellow ?
Best regards, Paul

Oi, Bev!

Composição amarela muito interessante! As cabines possuem uma textura muito interessante. Luz e cores muito boas.
Parabéns!

Hi Bev

I bet there is a local regulation for the paint of the beach huts; even the house wall and the flowers are the same colors!
Have a nice day
CLODO
