[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I think this photograph conveys a lot of information. It is midday, and the sun is hot. These young monks use a portion of their robe to cover their heads and afford a bit of protection from all of the UV rays. Then, you will notice they are carrying one flip-flop only, the other being left at the entrance. On my visit to Myanmar, I was always annoyed at having to remove footwear and then put it back on at departure. Sure, I understand respect for religious structures and customs and all that, but still.....
