I had a great time this weekend in The Netherlands. I was visiting some friends and visited Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Den Haag, Delft and Rockanje.

One of the loveliest and most romantic spots of Rotterdam is the Veerhaven inner harbour, where historic sailing ships rock gently on the water. The Veerhaven is situated in the Scheepvaartkwartier, a protected urban landscape. Imposing town houses line broad, stately lanes, recalling Rotterdam's rich history in shipping.

Hello Daniel,
I wouldn't say that this spot looks "romantic", but it's a nice view with fine colours and interesting boats. You found a good POV with a fine depth.

Hello Daniel,
So you were in Rotterdam last weekend, did you see all the festivities because the local football club won the championship too? Lovely photo of this part of the city. Rotterdam is such an interesting place to visit. The ships and the modern architecture are a great combination.

Good Morning Daniel,

You have shown your enjoyment in this shot for it incorporates some lovely features to attract our attention. The red boat, closely allied with the yellow and blue makes a most engaging f/g and lead seamlessly to the bridge, the high-rise buildings and the moored boats.
You have used excellent guides and created a fine sense of perspective.

Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Hello Daniel, very good photograph of this beautiful and interesting composition, very well captured in this beautiful image, with good sharpness, depth, light, color and quality. Very good and interesting work perfectly done, my congratulations, my friend. Thank you for sharing this beautiful work.

Good night and happy week.
Best wishes from the south of Spain.

Holland is a small country, relatively speaking - and yet, you reached quite many places for only a weekend.
Here, the red vessel is dominating this canal scenery, inner harbour as stated.
Depth, contrast and vivid colors, all superbly collected from your chosen POV.
My best regards,

Bravo et amitié

Bonjour Daniel,

Hello Daniel,

I like your description of this area in the inner harbor of Rotterdam, "...where historic sailing ships rock gently on the water." You captured it effectively and provided a succinct but informative note. Many thanks,

Ciao Daniel
sei riuscito a inserire due elementi dai colori forti in questa bella composizione, bel colpo.
Saluti Carlo

Hi Daniel
A beautiful historic inner city scene by the canal - the vibrant colours of the environ hooks the eye as main interest backed by some lovely buildings in the backdrop. An interesting scene as there's a certain charm as seen from this viewpoint. You are lucky to have equally an enchanting cloudscape and blue sky. Delightful to view, Congrats.
Best regards

Hi Daniel,

The length of the river is giving depth to the scene. The point of view is showing the details of the boat and of the buildings. It is clear and sharp. Have a nice day.
