Close to the sculpture with letters that I showed here a few days ago, there is another interesting object - Water Tower.
The Torre del Agua is a 76-metre-high tower built at the Expo 2008 site in Zaragoza, Spain. It was designed by Enrique de Teresa (es) and constructed of concrete, steel and glass.

It consists of a transparent structure erected in a droplet-of-water shape over a big three-storey basement. It provides 10,400 accessible square metres, 3,300 square metres in the basement’s floor and the remainder divided between the ramps and flat lands inside the glass tower.

During Expo 2008, the building hosted the Water for Life exposition.

The site of this Exhibition is a fascinating place, with many great photo possibilities, specially when someone is as lucky as I was there with the blue cloudless sky.

Bigger beta picture

Here another view of the tower with the willow branches.

The broader view with the Soul of Ebro sculpture and kids playing hockey.

Hello

quelle vue de cette tour quelle architecture moderne avec de angles et de courbes ce ciel pur c'est merveilleux.
Bravo et amitié
Nicou

Hello Malgo,
The vertical format works perfectly for this tall buiding picture.
Modern design and distinct details shown wonderfully.
I would, though, made the frame to the picture in diff. color altogether, but that is not disturbing the main subject, just my opinion.
Regards,
Ike

Hi Malgo,it's very interesting to watch that ths tower builth 9 years ago for EXPO is still there and well preserved, not like what happens now in Milano, all is abandoned as usual in Italy,a very bad thing. 3 perfect pics,i like the main and the full view of the 1st WS,perfect quality in a lucky sunny day! Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

Hello Malgorzata,

wonderful architecture picture from Zaragossa showing this modern building in perfect sharpness and clarity. I also like the amazing blue sky of Spain ....Very well done.TFS.

With regards from Luxembourg

Hello Malgo,
Excellent capture of this curious modernistic structure. The peerless blue sky was indeed the ideal backcloth. Very good technical realisation.

Hello Malgo,
It's an attractive building in a nice photo with good colours. From a strictly photographic point of view I prefer the workshops, for composition and for the general view of the area with kids dressed in red. (But you often prefer my workshops too, don't you?) ;-).
Best wishes,
Gert

Hello Malgo,

An unusual building that looks more like an architects sketch for a planned skyscraper than a real building. Beautiful blue sky backdrop with superb sharpness. Tfs!

Ciao Malgo,

Il y a quelque chose de spécial dans cet immeuble. Cela semble presque faux.Il n'y a pas à dire, l'architecture prend de bien jolies formes en Espagne.

Amicalement

Serge

Hello Malgo,
A very nice piece of modern architecture, which stands out so well against the perfectly blue sky. Its shapes look also most appealing. Your composition, leaving quite of lot of space over the tower is very well considered too.
Lars

Ciao Malgo
questa volta mi hai messo in crisi, mi piacciono tutte le tre foto, difficile giudicare la migliore.
Eccellente colpo e ottima presentazione, molto spettacolare.

malgo

it remind me the shapes of two buildings of Niemeyer in belo horizonte and são paulo, anyway here the presence of glass is more evident. very beautiful sample of architecture. perfect angle and quality of image.

hugs

jorge

Hello Malgo,
You are going too fast, I am behind now on the second page of your portfolio. These are three fascinating photos. My favorite one is the one looking up to the tower through a tree.
Thank you for your kind word on my 30,000 points, what a coincidence to have one significant digit followed by so many zeros for number of points at the end of a day!

MT
