A fascinating coastal landscape . I like especially the colors shapes and textures of the rocky formations in the FG , the contrast with the blue sea and sky . Beuatiful clous , too .

Wow! what beautiful colours, I have seen such colours on mountains but never on a sea beach. Beutiful isn't it? Like the way the cloud formations are parallel to the crest of the waves beneath. Truly spectacular seascape, liked it a lot. Thanks for sharing.

An interesting note and a fine photograph which is perhaps more "high key" than your usual posts.
Your composition is simple yet delightful. The subtle and soft colours in the foreground contrast beautifully with the strong blues of that characterful sky and the outcrop of sand or rock to the left is perfectly placed and holds the image together nicely,
Lovely light and colours, perfect exposure and your usual exquisite details and sharpness, best seen on the larger version.

People usually have to undertake deep mining to find precious minerals. This is amazing to find them so easily available. They do make the most wonderful patterns on the sand. They remind me of those glass tubes you used to buy at the seaside, which were full of different coloured sand and were arranged to make a pattern.
You have a most interesting scene, here, where the patterns of the sand and the patterns of the sky are briefly separated by the white-horse lines of the sea.
Have a great week,

a simple and colourfully calming seascape this. Love the fg textures and the mix of elements here is just captivating. Looks an amazing pace to just take in and breathe deeply. Superb!
Have a good week - B.

A very attractive combination of colours. Great image.
Your image reminds me of part of a beach north of Noosa in Queensland which is a tourist attraction due to the coloured sands. (Coloured sands of Tewantin). It also reminded me of the rutile mining along our NSW coast in the 60' and 70's. Coastal forests were destroyed in the process and replaced with the aggressive Bitou bush (Native to Sth Africa) to stabilise the sands afterwards.

A very useful note to accompany this splendid image. I like the composition very much, whilst the light is ideal to bring a 3-D effect to the foreground area. Superb colours and clarity. You live in a fascinating country if somewhat inhospitable in places.

the structure of the sand and its versatile colors are indeed amazing and they make this photo very different from any other beach snaps. The sea with its blue shades contrasts with the beach and the whole scene seems to be well balanced in proportions. I like how couple of the dark stones add an extra interest to the picture.
Thanks for sharing and have a nice day

Le point de vue sur la plage et la mer est superbe. Rien pour obstruer le regard. J'aime la texture et les lignes dans la terre rouge ainsi que le post traitement qui avantage le ciel et les nuages.

A beautiful place, and the lack of man made structures makes it even more beautiful, and even more unique. It seems when people get their hands on beach location, they tend to build the most hideous examples of architecture, so its refreshing to see this so natural. The colors and striations through that sand is so unusual too, it looks to me like expensive marble. The sky is like a work of art!
Thanks as always

Hello Rosemary, the swirling patterns in the multi coloured sand combined with the breaking tide gives the picture a surreal and very pleasing appearance,it`s such a tranquil scene with a lovely ambiance.
Kind regards Les.

Very attractive colours in this picture. The combination of the light brownish shades of the beach against all the blue shades of sea and sky is very good. This looks like a very wild beach, no tourists around at all. There are some big stones lying here but it is a bit hard to get an idea of their sizes. But very fine patterns from the tidal water here.

rinnovo il mio pensiero, ami profondamente questa terra, si vede da come te ne prendi cura e da come ce la mostri.
Una ulteriore bellissima interpretazione di questo paesaggio, sempre con la qualità che ti contraddistingue.

What a fantastic eye you have to recognise the great potential in this composition. The way you have framed it has really accentuated those lovely textures in the sand left by the mineral deposits and the earthy tones have contrasted so superbly with the blue sea and sky. One could almost think it a painting - even an abstract painting in some respects. I love the face that there is not a sinner on the beach, adding to the mood of solitude and tranquillity that you have created. Such beautiful untouched beach, just the way I like it. Excellent too, the strong definition of the rocks in the FG.

I like wild, desolate and undeveloped coastlines.
This is a splendid view of such a coast.
No lovely dunes on the foreground but impressive red rocks.
The colour contrast with the blue water and the sky is brilliant!
But I find it a bit difficult to estimate the right sizes.
Best regards, Paul

What a super photo of this very interesting beach, the Fg, sand is beautiful with all colours and set against the emerald green sea and gorgeous sky, perfect.
Hope you had a nice break.
i think i've told you before, but Tosca REALLY wants to go to Namibia in 2015. This year we have a major trip booked already, but i'm about 90% sure we'll be in Namibia next year :)
and Tosca loves this type of scenery. She'll be in heaven. here we see an interesting and photogenic piece with the deposits on the beachfront.
great sense of space, wild and wide open for miles and miles. very sweet colors.

Without anyone in sight, this certainly looks to be unspoiled land...just the way nature intended. :) A completely different look and feel to a beach than I've ever seen before, this is quite intriguing. You've done an excellent job in showing the varying degrees between the foreground and distant horizon, this angle offers a strong perspective full of color and texture. In fact, the natural "lines" in the sand make for a great lead-in, taking the eye from the bottom left corner and following right out to sea. Simple beauty from top to bottom. Enjoy the new day ahead. Take care.
