I tend to have an opinion that very often (of course if the place is not dangerous potentially) it's best to be there absolutely alone - at least for a while: thus you can fully feel the place and imagine what your intuition tells you.
Very interesting note and photo. I wish I would see it, too, some day! but who knows..
The inclusion of a walking person in front of the temple is an excellent idea to show the real scale and add more depth to the scene :)
looking forward to seeing more images from this place!
have a nice Sunday!

You never know what you might find when you go off the beaten track. You have certainly captured a gem here. The point of view gives us a flavour for the complex as a whole; can't wait to see more. I like the presence of the man on the road who helps create a sense of depth and gives the image a sense of scale.

This looks like a fascinating place. I like your composition, which is very straightforward but gives a good idea of the area and includes some human presence. At first I only saw the man on the road but after a while I discovered the two persons on top of the hill - or maybe it's a wall. Even that tiny little red dot adds something to the picture.

J'aime beaucoup le personnage dans l'image. Il donne à celle-ci une très belle profondeur. Le temple est spectaculaire et jouit d'une très belle lumière.

A wonderful photo with interesting notes and strange title, excellent POV, the man in the FG makes a very nice depth to the view of the beautiful temple, natural colors under bright light, TfS!
Have a nice week, Vasilis.
So you found a real treasure! Well done! What a find - it just shows that your perseverance has paid off. Did you photograph all 90,000 images of Buddha? :o)
This is an amazing structure and looks really huge. Lots of interesting detail here and lovely colours. The composition is excellent too with that lady walking ahead of you on the road towards the temple.
Let's see some more pictures of this amazing place!

You are a tough hiker covering such a big distances to visit landmarks. It seems that this one is worth going 2.5 km on foot. The general view of the temple shows that its architectural forms are rather unusual and very interesting. Excellent composition with the perspective of the road and many other amazing details, nice colors and perfect quality of the photo!

Good Morning Malgo,
You must have been quite overwhelmed with this image! I can imagine you talking to yourself ... a great feeling when you are on your own!
With the road leading up to the temple, you are helping us to feel a little of your experience. Of course, we only have the visual impression, no heat, no sound, no worry ... but I think we can imagine! What an experience you have had!
Have a lovely day,

As you rightly said, I have never seen a picture of this amazing temple before. At first glance this looks like a smalelr version of Borubudur. The road creates a good lead-in with the man the scale. I am really surprised as well as to why the Burmese monuments are not yet in UNESCO Heritage list. It has a lot to do with politics & lobbying rather than anything else...a pity!

we can get a true sense of scale, the grandness of the structure, and having the solitary person walking adds even more interest.
