[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One Step Beyond are the UK's most accomplished tribute band to the music of Madness! Their Suggs-alike lead singer is a task and a half to photograph as he moves around the stage like a whirling Dervish...a crowd pleaser like no other!

They are performing at the 2011 Glastonbudget - an annual festival which takes place in some fields near where I live and is now the biggest Tribute and New Bands Festival in Europe. Over the three days there were around 140 bands, the majority of whom are unsigned. The tribute bands have honed their live performances to a tee - all accomplished musicians in their own right - with on the whole really great stage performances.

so happy to see you here !
Superb one. The b&w is excellent and you captured a moment full of life and dynamism.
Good to see such photography here.

"lead singer is a task and a half to photograph as he moves around the stage like a whirling Dervish.."....

i think - if someone is a tribute to the guys from Madness - by definition it has to be hard to "freeze" the block in the frame...:-)

what a "madness" expression you captured here!...

(b&w conversion is fantastic here!)

best, j.
