Here we are in in a National Park in the province of San Juan Argentina - WHAT an amazing place & name '' ISCHIGUALASTO National Park '' What you are looking at here was once covered in water over 12 million years ago... the balls are a natural wonder & were formed by sediments rolling backwards & forwards in the water... these fine ball like specimens are extremely fragile - amazing after surviving for so many years.
Please note; the colours are genuine this is not a black & white photograph.

Dawn,

Am shocked that no one gave you points before! This TE "brotherhood" seems to be very partial towards some. Not nice and not fair!

A beautiful composition, very intriguing rocks indeed. All the more striking as this is not a sepia photo!!!

dawn

impressive the colors (not being in B&W), the shapes are amazing and looks like a kind of artist modern project. perfect your image showing us this marvelous corner of nature.

hugs

jorge

Hello Dawn,

this is an impressive image, it looks like other planet, it must be an interesting place to visit, well seen and presented,

Best regards,

Sergio

hello
your picture has its place in my favorite theme : unbelievable landscapes
Thanks
Vincent

Amazing how nature created those "balls" rocks, Dawn.
This looks as B&W photo, but presumably it is their real colors.
Unbelievable phenomenon, we have a similar field in our Ramon-creater in the Negev desert.
Fine Geo document.
Regards,
Ike

Amazing place of curiosity and geological interest
Good document Gus,
Fine colors and good sharpness
Buenas tardes

Hi Dawn,

a strange place. It looks really like on another planet. These are the true colors there? No black and white photo? Very strange.

Very effectively captured, Dawn. Very well done!

All the best

Peter
