Your visits seem few and far between these days. All the more reason to enjoy this beauty. A superb example of long exposure night time photographer. Beautifully rendered nuances of light and shade. The shooting star is the cherry on the cake. Bravo!

This sky looks less "strange and artistic" but no less beautiful. We get a better idea of what the sky really looked like, and that is impressive enough. The Uluru rock is more clearly visible, and there are even some nuances in the ground. It's a very beautiful photo and perfectly exposed.

This is fantastic and what a visual treat!!
The Rock serves as a focal point of all the drama and everything is clear and it also gives a pleasant sense of evolution, energy, beauty and it gives such upliftment to the Spirits of Uluru. It retains that natural look of the milk way and not the way over processed, very natural flowing together in harmony complementing one other.
You have used the available light perfectly with superb result here at 20 seconds and highest ISO sensitivity when this remained sharp in focus.
The darkness envelopes us and is so peaceful!!

Hello Lisa, It is a bit clear so the rock is more visible. Incredible sight with Milky Way. so many stars but difficult to recognize any constellation. Have you thought any wish seeing the falling star? May it comes true.
Kind regrads Malgo

this indicates what could be normality, but what most of us are lacking due to light pollution over our cities! Perfectly exposed, and the combination with Uluru rock is outstanding.

Hello Lisa, looking at this amazing sky, makes me realise how small we are, just living on the third rock from the sun!
The dark night sky with no interference from the lights from towns or cities is truly magnificent.
Uluru grounds us, so we know exactly where we are.
Thanks for sharing,

again, another cool Astro Photography shot from you.
the world is something to be amazed at isn't it. Its too bad more peopled don't get to experience it in this way.
you really do have to leave the city and get out in the country to see the stars like this, and its almost always worth the time and effort to do so.
I recall seeing this large rock on your Instagram account too. just like in your other photo I critiqued, the mysterious setting only adds to the photo, this one makes us ponder, think about life for awhile, take a step back and let it all sink in. lovely

It's nice to see you back here, and what a fantastic capture of the sky with the view of the Milky Way and so many stars! The falling one looks great here! In the Atacama Desert I tried to take a photo like that, but as I had no experience with that I wasn't able to get such a beautiful sky!

Your previous upload was wonderfully surrealistic. But this is clearly my favourite. Indeed there's countless bright stars visible, showing different colours. And Milky Way is just on the right place. One can even see tones of dry desert terrain on the lower part of the frame. No sign of human presence anywhere.

This is another gem. The subtle colors in the sky are beautiful. Uluru Rock plays more of a "starring" role in this view. (pardon the pun!) I can feel the spirituality of this place through your photos, and I can only imagine how intense the experience must be when you are actually there.

What a great view of the stars and the galaxy right above Uluru. The view is so impressive and it's awesome that you even captured a falling star. Fantastic photo work!

Long time no see. Good to critique a new upload from you. The shooting star nicely breaks the starry patterns. Good sharpness in this superb nocturnal time exposure. Tfs!

Hello dear Lisa,
This is a spectacular time exposure of the Milky Way. The eerie silhouette of the massive rock below makes it appear unworldly. We've both been absentee members of TE lately. I'm happy to be back and to see this masterpiece from you.
During the total eclipse last month in the Southeastern United States, my son used a 500 mm lens on his Canon. Along with a photo I took of the Hale-Bop Comet 21 years ago, Carol Jean wants to frame a few night photos of the night sky, and display them along a hallway at home. Could you send me a high resolution version of your masterpiece?

Wow, what a wonderful night sky over the Uluru here. As I can see you used almost exactly the same camera settings as in my last upload. Only your foreground is far more interesting indeed.
have a great time
