[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]
The village of Saint-Cyriac no longer exists. There remains only a chapel built in 1902 by the lake (Kénogami). The remainder disappeared underwater after the construction of two dams and several retaining dykes to meet the hydraulic needs of the large companies located in the Chicoutimi. A dispute arose between them and the municipal council of the day, who, convinced that he would succeed, had a school built, the presbytery repaired, and a waterworks was built. The companies won the game, and the unfortunate village disappeared underwater. In 1925, the immersion was total.

Fine capture of this small wooden church. I like the dramatic sky and the graphical effects. Good work!

Bonjour, cher Denis,
Une composition de toute beauté, l'édifice religieux ressort magnifiquement sur ce ciel d'un éclat à faire pâlir de nombreux peintres.
Une grande et belle réussite.

Hello Denis,
very dramatic almost scary in a way, greatly enhanced by the use of wide angle with low position. Great job, well composed and light managed. Congrats

Bonjour Denis,

La chapelle est bien placée dans le cadrage. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de l'architecture de la chapelle. J'apprécie ce ciel où le soleil se cache derrière les nuages. Bonne journée.

Beautiful architecture well enhanced by the dramatic sky background. The light falling on the left side of the church makes this composition remarkably memorable. Thanks and kudos to you.
