[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It's still a tradition in Istanbul, that in main squares of the city birdfeeder offers cups full with corn.
You can buy such a cup and throw it to the place.
And pigeons fly than in and start to eat those corns.
The job is today mainly performed buy gipsies. Both men and women.
Here this gipsy women sits on the road side and while waiting for a new customer she is busy with her cellphone !

Witaj Mesut!
Interesting scene from street.
Poverty but a mobile phone is the basis of being.
Good frame, colors and light.
Good reportage work.
Nice day.

Hello Mesut,
The lady does not seem to have many customers and has had to resort to her mobile phone to amuse herself. She is well framed and her brightly coloured garb stands out nicely against the grey paving. Interesting and well realised daily life composition with a story to relate.

Bravo et amitié

Bonjour, cher Mesut,

Hello Mesut,

Your picture has different meanings, the woman with the clothing of her religion, but the cell phone a modern, element that I not would expect.
Sharpness and clarity are superb.
Nice colours and pleasant presentation.
Very well done, TFS.

Best regards,

Hello Mesut,

Turkey is world famous for yogurt and the word has even found its way into English. If I am not mistaken, 'peynir' is cheese? An innovative use of the containers for bird feeders. A nice daily life scene of the woman on her mobile phone too. Tfs!

You know what? I would have been one of this lady's customers, because I love pigeons and anything that flys!

I see she is also sat on a bucket, but is it still full with corn to sell? And how much does she charge, do you know?

The wood pigeons in my garden now come up to me to eat peanuts; I have only lived here for a short while but already they feel happy to get very close...

Thank you for sharing this picture and your older b&w ones. Hopefully you may share more and include some pigeons!

Kind regards, Casper

Hi Mesut

Typical Istambul scene, she is waiting patiently. I would propose you a WS to improve (?) your scene
