After going down the stairs to the pedestrian walkway, I turned back toward Fatih (south) and was impressed by the merging of old and new. The mosque we see to the left of Golden Horn Metro Bridge is Süleymaniye Mosque. Süleymaniye Mosque was built on the order of Süleyman the Magnificent, by the architectural genius Mimar Sinan. The construction work began in 1550 and the mosque was finished in 1557. It is an Ottoman imperial mosque located on the Third Hill of Istanbul, and is the second largest mosque in the city.

A well chosen POV of the modern bridge and its special design with round elements "mingling" with strait lines elements, Murat.
The minarets on far left is well added to teh scene.
There is a purple tint, done probably in the PP - I can try to fix this in a WS and will apply only if you will allow me.
Have a nice new day,
Ike

Bonjour, cher Murat,
Philippe

Witaj Murat!
Interesting fragment of construction.
Excellent POV, frame and colors.
Man add flavor to this composition.
Well done.
Warm regards.
Krzysztof

Ciao Murat, great perspective on beautiful bridge, excellent clarity, splendid light and wonderful colors very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

Hello Murat,
This is a surprise to me. I wasn't aware of this bridge, which probably didn't exist during my last visit to Istanbul in 2012. It is very different to the other bridges across the Golden Horn, maybe most of all due to the lack of fishermen. Aren't they allowed here? The man accentuates the fine depth of the photo and the view of Süleymaniye Mosque assures us that we are still in Istanbul.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello Murat,
A great cityscape and I really like the combination of old and new here. The long walkway leads the eye very nicely towards the green neighbourhood on the other side with the minarets of the mosque on top of the hill. The glass pane on the right hand side reflects this part very nicely too, which makes an amazing detail.
Lars

Hello Murat,
Excellent composition that cleverly combines ancient and modern. There is a purplish cast as Ike suggests but I do not find this unpleasant. I like the long perspective and strong geometric lines offered by the bridge.

Hello, Murat!

Very nice capture of this structure that creates an interesting graphical effect! The perspective is very nice, which gives very good depth to the composition. And the presence of the man completes the scene perfectly! Very good job!

Hi Murat

Indeed, this is a striking contrast between the old at top left (Solomon / Süleymaniye Mosque) & the new pedestrian catwalk in the fg and at right. Good sharpness and perspective. Tfs!

Hi Murat
Wonderful shot of a modern pedestrian bridge showing off its immense architectural features with a bonus of an attractive backdrop. Really good use of wide lens and as always, human touch is so beneficial. Superb shot, Congrats

PS: My only sincere crit is the sky colour doesn't look natural with purplish tinge
Best regards

Hello Murat,
An excellently composed picture with very good depth.
The long walkway leads our eyes well to the Süleymaniye Mosque.
A view I didn't have when I was in Istanbul in the early 1990's. I don't think this bridge was built then.
On the right of the picture we discover a very small but beautiful reflection.
Best regards, Paul
