[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A typical daily-life street scene, which you can see this days almost everywhere in Turkey.
This capture is been made on the roadside of one of the most popular and wealthy parts of İstanbul on the Asian side of the city.

This family of Syrian refugees (mother-father and 3 kids) were sitting on the roadside and waiting that someone gave them some money ...

Good morning Mesut,
This is unworthy of our rich, western countries. If governments don't do anything about it, maybe we citizens should.
They look like a really nice family. I sincerely hope that there is some brigher future ahead for them.
Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards.
Marie-Louise.

Hello Mesut,
Maybe it is always better to be alive and poor than being dead. Whatever this family's life may have been in Syria it could not have been as bad as this. It's not a charming photo but it is a photo that rich Europeans need as a reminder of what is going on. Some governments refuse to allow any refugees at all to enter their countries.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello Mesut,
A sad daily life photo from the streets of Istanbul. It's heart-breaking to see this family and particularly the children sitting at the side of the pavement.

Hello My Friend

We scream to save the animals and the planet earth. But we always seem to neglect to take care of our fellow man. Until we can learn this.....we are doomed. My heart hurts at scenes such as this. The children have committed no crime being born into a very cruel world. Thanks for an image that's makes us think about humanity. The image speaks for itself

hello Mesut, What a sad view. How this family deserved this fate. It seems that the people pass by without any notice. This situation lasts so long and there is no "light in the tunnel" . I liked Syria so much it is so painful to see such images like this.

Kind regrad s Malgo

Merhaba Mesut
cricri

Hi Mesut
very polarizing scene. One the one hand I want to give them so much money to help, on the other hand its may not be the best way to help them. They really do look like a 'nice' family and don't fit the sterotype of beggars on the street.
very sad and heart breaking. Not sure if they speak english, but I would sit and talk to them. fine reportage type photo
cheers
Craig
