Our bus was leaving Bethlehem after we visit a store with souvenirs, unfortunately the economy of this town suffers a lot because limitation in tourism.
Here we can see the wall separating Israel from Palestine. The materialization of the lack of dialogue between the parts.

PS:Today it is my anniversary on TE.

Hello Jorge,
Happy TE-anniversary! It's sad to see this wall, unfortunately walls have always been built as an easy solution, so problems didn't have to be discussed and it seems they keep being built as well.

Hi Jorge,

I tried a workshop adding more brightness and contrast. A sad reminder of the abyss between 2 religions and regions in the Middle East. Good sharpness and composition. Tfs!

Hello Jorge,

A nice combination between the lovely nature and the grey wall in background.
You create nice depth and perspective
Also nice colours.
Very well done, TFS.

Have a nice day,

Hi Jorge, very difficult days for the touristic economy in all the arabic area, and a great shot showing us what everywhere don't want to see...a wall, like in Berlin after the war, like in other european countries during this emigration moment....a shame! Great idea for a very interesting post,my best congratulations for your anniversary too. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Ciao Jorge, ugly wall but beautiful photo, excellent clarity and fine details, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

This wall, Jorge, is a life-saver.
It was built in the aftermath of a large number of car-bombs and suicide-bombers attacks from 2000 until recent few years.
Sure, walls are separating - but the neighborhood is not the easy life as in many other places in our world.
The wall will be destroyed, as peace will come.

Hello Jorge,
A very poignant photo symbolizing the unfortunate state of affairs in the Middle East. The walls will come down only when religious fanaticism gives way to tolerance.
