Hello Pierre,

The red papavers in the black and white field care for a lovely contrast.
Lovely perspective and depth picture.
An excellent composition and lovely presentation.
Very well done, TFS.

Have a nice day,
John

Hello Pierre,
The desaturation had a great effect. The poppies look even brighter against this black and white scenery. Th clouds have probably benefited from the B&W treatment.
Regards,
Gert

Hello Pierre,

You had an inspirational idea to desaturate this scene and the result has been excellent!
We can still appreciate the guidelines, the context and the walker but the poppies stand out with their undeniable vibrancy.

Have a lovely day,
Bev :-)

Bonjour Pierre,

Une bonne idée que de transformer en noir et blanc tout ce qui n'est pas fleur dans le cadre. J'imagine le travail de moine en post production.

Amicalement

Serge

Colour, light and contrast excellent, good together in a successful picture.

Hi Pierre
Very well observed and captured with the selective colour popping working well, but I am particularly impressed by the way you have taken this, with the focus and closeness leading up to the distant. Very noteworthy image and very well taken, Congrats
Best wishes

Dear Pierre

A beautiful - and symbolic - image of the poppies in the field. it instantly makes me think of World War One and the terrible sacrifices made from all countries. Excellent partial desaturation.

Thanks for sharing, have a lovely day
Lisa

Hello,
Lights and colours are very attractive.

Hello Pierre,

Interesting pp work with the partial saturation of the image leaving just the red poppies and pinkish tones of the bg houses and roofs. Tfs!
