"Aμάραντος (Amarandos)" is a plant that frequentlly grows near the sea in Grecce. It's name in Greek means "he who never withers".
It's Scientific name is Limonium.
This plant has the caracteristic of not loosing its flowers color. As long aw you leave it to dry, the color of the flowers can last for years.

Here, they are drying on a boat to Kimolos.
