Leffingestreet Bruges

The god house Cobrysse, now Leffingestraat 5-11, was built in 1663 in Bruges by Paul Cobrysse and his wife Margaretha de Meulenaere, as godtshuys to the residence of six "aerme females of good faeme" "dialect" poor women of a good family. The façade consisted of three stepped gables, each with three round-shaped attic openings in a checkered frame. The construction was a continuation of an approval granted in 1640 to Joost Cobrysse, father of Paul, but which he could not realize by his death in 1642.
Until the end of the ancien regime, the cottages were managed by members of the Cobrysse family and by the Armendis of St. Anne's Church. The French era, as a national good, she became the property of the Committee of Civil Godhouses

I hope you can enjoy.

Hallo John,
Vele groeten, Paul

Hi John,

The composition is well divided, the sky, the house and the cars. The point of view is showing the details of the house and of the cars. The light is making the colours to stand out. Have a nice day.

Pierre

Hello John,

Hi John
Lovely straight on shot focusing on the architectural details of this humble looking old house. The vehicles just pull the image together and there's some good light and rich colour too. Contrast to deep blue sky is so superb to look! Congrats
Best regards

Hallo John,

Hello John,

The red tiled roof contrasts superbly against the blue sky. And the 2 blue cars either side. Good sharpness and well framed and composed. Tfs!

Bonjour, cher ami John,

The historic house shown well with bright daylight upon its wide façade, John, not possible to include a full view - what we see is fine.
The small tractor and the orange vest on the parking made me smile when looking at first...
I can see each red roof-tile mounted, a fine photo.
Good afternoon,
Ike
