Back to my archive 2015 a picture during a visit to the ZOO

Zoo Pairi Daiza:

it is forbidden to feed animals, but the people and animals are so close together that the animals come to the people.

Pairi Daiza (until 2009 Paradisio) is an animal park in Cambron-Casteau (Hainaut), which opened its doors on May 11 1994. The park has grown from a bird park to a full-bodied zoo. Pairi Daiza is located on the site of the former Cambron Abbey, which belonged to the Cistercian Order. There are many ruins in the park that remind you of this. Pairi Daiza means closed garden in Persian language.
In 2006, the "Dream of Han Wu Di" was opened, the largest Chinese garden in Europe, with cranes, three red pandas and coin jackets. In 2007, the Bird of prey was opened, a row of voleries with different types of birds of prey and a walk-through with vultures and other birds of prey. In 2008, Paradisio broke out with a large Indonesian area.
In 2007, more than 635,000 people visited this park. In 2012 it was raised to 955,000, [4] making it the most popular zoo in Belgium. On September 1, 2013, the park welcomed the 1 million visitors of that year. In total, 1,243,000 visitors visited the park in 2013. The visitor number rose to 1.39 million in 2014. By 2015, the park received 1,767 million visitors.

Hello John,
I hope the visitors respect the rule that they should not feed the animals. It is a very nice and cute photo of the beautiful giraffe coming so close to the people. It is quite touching to see its lack of fear, especially since the photo is so well taken with perfect sharpness and colours as well as an excellent composition.
Kind regards,

Hello dear John and have a nice time

Hi John,

You have captured well the smiling expression of the people. The point of view is showing the details of the giraffe. The light is giving nice tints to the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello John, I prefer to see the animals in wild, not in the zoo, but it is a nice picture also. Great idea to build this high platform and the visitors can be so close to giraffes. Excellent composition.

Kind regrad s MAlgo

Ciao John
nonostante le forme poco proporzionate della giraffa, si è sempre distinta per la sua eleganza e questa foto conserva questa sensazione.
Bel momento, piacevole e, in qualche modo, anche commovente.

Hello John,
What a cute photo of a giraffe making friends with his visitors. I also like the selective focus.

Hi John,

Bonjour, cher ami John,

Hello John,

good image of the zoo, you captured a cute scene with the people and the giraffe, details are excellent, it is a nice picture, well done,

Have a good weekend,

Hello John,

I'm sure you enjoyed taking this photograph; giraffes are such adorable, photogenic animals and everyone around seems to be enjoying the experience.
The giraffe is certainly the main focal image, his head and neck so clearly captured and placed nicely on a diagonal.
The surrounding visitors add much to the overall impression of great day out but nothing takes attention from the giraffe!

My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello John

It's nice to see such a trusting animal. They have giraffes in Melbourne Zoo too but I don't recall a viewing platform like this for people. No doubt the rules are there so the animals don't get overfed, or worse, fed the wrong kinds of food that make the sick. Tfs!

Hello John, a beautiful scene with the interaction between the people and the giraffe.
Good focusing on the people and the animal with the tree softly blurred.
Perfect title.
Regards Jean.

Hello John,
Zoo's are always intriguing and Giraffe is always a pleasant animal to look at. Its colors and mild fur, their calm character attract both kids and grown-ups.
Fine close range photo of the long neck and beautiful head.
Like it a lot.

Hi John
you know what I really like about this one? its the contrast between the patterns. The giraffe has spots, the man on the left has white and black horizontal stripes, its kinda funny haha. love the bg blur, the way the fg subjects stand out. wonderful shot. cheers

leuke foto,
fraai standpunt en mooi gemaakt John.Is weer eens wat anders.

Olá, John!

Foto incrível, a nitidez é realmente perfeita. O fundo levemente desfocado ficou bem interessante. Luz natural, enquadramento bem feito e cores bonitas.
Bom trabalho!
