[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
concluding my Sippenaken series

---

Sippenaken is a quiet countryside village of just a couple of hundred inhabitants. The castle of Beusdael is its most notable building. The oldest part is the keep, which dates from the 14th century.

---

This picture shows the castle with a tractor working the field in front. The farmer is cutting the high grass, laying it out in lines, later to be picked up and dried into hay. Here the machine is at rest (moveable parts up), he is driving from one part of the field to another.

Hello Benny,
It's back to where you started this series, with bright farming equipment in front of the old castle. Very eye-catching.
Regards,
Gert

Bonjour Benny,

to you hello benny...wonderful countryside scene, superb color, plus POV...bringing in this tractor really does it 4 me! dale

Hi Benny
so this may be a dumb question, but is that HIS castle? is this where he lives? I get the feeling its a no, but I thought i'd ask anyways.

Its a small thing, but i love how the bright yellow wheels of the tractor stand out so well, they make a huge impact. charming scene from top to bottom, really attractive. cheers
Craig

Dag Benny
Prachtig werk, Groet Rob

Dag Benny,

Mooi foto werk, bedankt.

Groeten,
John

Hallo Benny,

Hello Benny,

A beautiful countryside, perfect vertical framing of the Church, excellent exposure control, very well done. like it.

warm regards,

Hi Benny
A most beautifully observed, composed, exposed and captured landscape image with interest, beauty, colour and depth. This kind of shot is so important to keep the memory of the occasion with you always - you thinking "wish I had more time there" and then smiling and thinking what a special time it was.....
Beautiful capture,
Best wishes

Hi Benny,
This looks like a very nice country-side, and reading from your previous posts of the area, I would really like to hear the dialect, mixture of Dutch, German and French. It must be quite interesting !
I like the architecture of this very old castle, but as you say, it's a pity it's privately owned and not open to the public :-(
I particularly like the very sophisticated roofs of the towers.
The red or gold stones give a great contrast amongst the green rolling hills. And the windows on the right building seem to be very ornate.
The presence of the tractor also adds a bit of colour and life.
TFS and have a good weekend.
Marie-Louise.
