Hello Dear friends,

I traveled Jagdalpur to Koraput by train. Jagdalpur is famous for Chitraikot water falls, it is a gigantic water falls and largest in India. The train was crossing a curved track surrounded by hills and jungles. Very pleasant and charming of the total atmosphere. It was nearer at the station and its red signal was visible. I captured this curving direction on door of the train. You have seen many like of that but it was a nice experience to me.

with best wishes to all,
swapankumarroy

Bonjour, Swapan,
Je l'aime beaucoup cette prise de vue, nous avons vraiment l'impression d'être à bord du train et de voir le convoi de voitures se déplacer au fil des rails.
Bel effet de perspective.
Amitiés.
Philippe

Train rides always an intriguing journey, especially if you can open windows and take photos not through the glass, Swapan, something I could not do in Israel nor in England on my recent trip.
The curve of the truck and the locomotive and wagons shown marvelously with the green jungle area surrounding.
Bravo and good evening,
Ike

Hello Swapan,
Being able to open the train window makes all the difference as you clearly show here. You have made good use of the bend in the track to create a wonderful long perspective along the length of the train and beyond. Very well exposed with excellent colours and clarity.

Hello Swapan,
A great view along the train, well captured right when the train was in a bend. The composition is well balanced with the green fields and hills.

Hello Roy,

This is real a very good picture taken along the long train.
You create depth and perspective.
Also a nice panorama beside the train.
Composition and presentation are nice to look at.
Very well done, TFS.

Best regards,
John.

Hello Swapan,

I would imagine that just riding on a train, in India, is a great experience. I have seen many interesting programmes about such travel. But, of course, in this instance, it is the curve of the track which allows you this extended view of the travelling train which is the biggest thrill.
For the viewer, it acts as in uninterrupted guide from the f/g to the end of the train and we can appreciate some of the thrill of hanging out of a window.

My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Swapan,

I took a couple of shots like this from the Trans Mongolian train from Beijing to Ulan Bator and also the Baikal Amur Mainline from Lake Baikal to Vladivostok. Good depth and perspective and the shallow fg dof focuses attention on the bg. Tfs!

An interesting rural capture from the moving train,
the bending track - an integral part of the shot, leads the eye through. Clarity wise, you coped pretty well there with nice contrasting colours to play with, Nice take, Congrats
Best wishes

Hello Swapankumarroy,

great image of this train, you had a good idea taking the picture from your window, the visual result is excellent, well done,

Best regards,

Sergio

Hello Swapan,

Witty composition. I like how you placed the train into the picture, it creates a good counter-point to the landscape.

Best Wishes,
Gy.

Hello Swapan
Beautiful and succesful experiment from the train. The curve of the disappearing train goes deep into the landscape. It combines the two different sides of this attractive composition.
Excellent work. Have a nice day, Groet Rob

hello Swapan,

I love to travel by trains, even for very long journeys. And such places like here with the curve are good for taking pictures. Interesting view. I think these are the wagons of the cheapest class, with the bars. I travelled a lot by trains in India, many thousands kilometers.

Kind regrads Malgo

Hi Swapan
hmmm....interesting capture, i like it. Just be careful not to hit your head as you place it out of a moving train! haha

excellent depth, I like the color variations, and I really enjoy the metallic silver and greys of the train itself. It has a real 3D like effect here. cheers
Craig

Namaste, Swapan!
I have never seen your gallery... What can I say? You are great photographer, and I really love your perfect photos with good composition, excellent exposure. Thumbs up!
I have never used a train in India, we traveled by sleepers from Panjim to Mumbai only.
Thanks for memories!
Serghei

Hi,
A great angle for showing this long train curving on Indian landscape. Your camera is perfectly placed on the upper window line giving strong perspective. It also shows well that worn out texture.
Kari

Hello Swapankumarroy,
This is a lovely photo of the curving train with the red light reflecting off the white paint. Very nicely done, something I would not dare myself.
Regards,
MT

Hello Swapan This is an exciting view of a train that leaves much of 'the spotlight' to the verdant countryside. Those bars over the windows to prevent accidents are quite unusual in America and I saw on Utube some trains in India, full to capacity, with people clinging to entrances of wagons and even sitting on top of the railcars! Thanks for showing this exciting view.
