hi dear Takero. If it wasn't for those people in the background dressed in modern clothing, one could imagine that Hokusai himself was looking at the water procession. of course the bride would not have been waving at the artist- she would have been more reserved. Beautiful flowers for a nice custom. Regards. Klaudio.

What a unique way to celebrate a wedding, Takero. Lovely sunny view.

TFS,
May

Hello Takero, Is this a real wedding couple or just festival? Marvelous view of the boat in the flowers. Wonderful composition.

Hello Takero,
What a lovely view of this bride and groom in their traditional boat. I like all the flowers on both sides, and the small, paper lantern at the front of the boat. There are a lot of people lined up in the background. I wonder where they are going...

Hi Takero
so is this something special that the bride and groom are doing, or is this what most newlyweds do in Japan?

You wouldn't see this in Canada, haha. very photogenic, nice to have the flowers all around. and i wonder how long is the boat ride? fine cultural image, it came out well.
cheers
craig
