[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
On the weekend this troupe of tradional musicians play in a public place and have a box for tips and donations for the local people. It was wonderful to hear there unique music played on instruments which looked quite strange but the effect was excellent.

Hello Murray,

There is a softness in the focus here which may or may not be planned, but it makes the image evocative of a painting. The roses on the side are very much like a still life.

Hi Murray,
I remembered watching a musician playing traditional musical instrument in one of the restaurant by the side of the lake at Hanoi and it does make the dinner more memorable. I like the happy atmosphere created by the smile and the two scrolls at the back helped to emphasize the theme of this shot. Great shot!!!
