A brick furnace in the Mekong Delta. The fuel is husks from the rice harvest, so the process is largely carbon neutral. As there is no rock to quarry in the delta bricks are essential to construction. In the low light conditions shooting this was a challenge as flash would have removed the shaft of light.

Hi Neil,
I like this shot, the shaft of light highlighted by the dust hanging in the air, the detail of the arches and i always like shots of people at work as is capturing a moment time of how things are/were done. these moments can never be regained.
