This is a good piece of reportage I think, especially when your note accompanies it. There is some sort of strange distortion going on through your photo, kind of like an extreme type of jpeg distortion. Perhaps it is how your camera handles high ISOs? For some reason, it actually adds to this shot I think. Good posting.

I've been reading up on the events today on the web and it doesn't look good. if it deteriorates further, it'll bew hell; can you imagine gurkhas against gurkhas?

Gloria, you are not only a very good photographer, but also a very brave one! Hope you didn't get hurt by occasion while taking pictures of the scene? It is an excellent documentary shot and I wish I could give you 4 points. :-) But untill Adam changes the rules, you will have to be satisfied with the 2 - I am giving them to you with my full admiration!

Just saw scenes like these on the Dutch news and that means something (Nepal is never an issue here). it's so strange to look at the city I just left, in such a different atmosphere. This is truly a brave and meaningfull capture of the situation, sadly enough. be careful please!
