Mumbai - On a small fish market

Nothing special to report on these pictures.
Both are taken on a very small fish market in the neighbourhood of the Mahalaxmi Dhobi Ghat.
And it seemed like I was a little fly. Nobody noticed me.

Hello dear friend and have a nice time
and a happy new day
another impressive photo
me personal opinion is that you must
issue a book with all your last
traditional photos

Bonjour, cher Paul,

Good morning Paul,
Small fishes on the small fish-market... the crabs seem wonderfully in pink and grey - though I am not a seafood eater, it would be always interesting to walk through market and take its daily life ongoing's. I looked at the details surrounding this spot, humble and simple environment shown.
Have a nice Friday,

Salut paul,

Hello Paul, I love markets and I am especially fascinated by fish markets. What strange creatures you can see there. An interesting pile of shrimps, funny how the lady is squatting there. A bit pity that the guy in red is partly hidden. There are even some reflections.

Kind regards MAlgo

Ciao Paul

Witaj Paul!
Interesting scene from daily life.
Small fish market makes impression.
Excellent frame, colors and composition.
Well done.
Warm regards.

Hello Paul,
I can understand that you choose this for the main upload because of the colourful pile of shrimps and the squatting lady. Like Malgo I feel it's a pity that the man in the red shirt is cut off by the pillar, so in some ways I prefer the WS for its better composition. However, both photos are highly enjoyable for the environment and people they show and the views of fresh seafood.
Best regards,

Dag Paul,

Goed foto werk Paul, bedankt.

Ha! Ha! Little flies can see so much without anyone ever noticing them, providing they don't hover around the face!
We learn so much from a well taken photograph, even that the stall is wet, from the reflections on it!
Those prawns look tasty!
And, the fish look fresh and clean!

I'm curious about the two in the f/g of the main post.
What is the guy in red handling?
It looks more like something to stand on than something for a fish stall

I enjoy these photos from India. They are happy and colourful.

MY warm regards,
Bev :-)

Bonjour Paul,

Hi Paul
to answer your drone question first...
do i feel disillusioned about not seeing the 'drone' view with my own eyes for real...i think I do hahaha...i see it on my phone when i'm controlling the drone :) my phone is hooked up to the controller which is linked to the drone by wifi.

but seriously...It doesn't bother me at all, i love my drone, it offers views I usually do not see. and yes, I still climb church towers, stairs, monuments, all of them. I love that too. I visied 8 cities in Croatia and I climbed a tower in all of them by foot - the ones that had a tower.

In Pula, where I took that photo, there was no tower available, at least I didn't see any.

There will be more drone photos coming as well.

as for your shot here, its great to see the reflection in the water, thats completely unexpected and a real visual treat. looking forward to your email

Hello Paul

A superb daily life scene from the fish market with the fg pile of fresh prawns looking good for adding to some bagmati rice. I just hope they have refrigeration / ice to keep them fresh, or they are sold and refrigerated quickly. Tfs!

Bonjour Paul

Hi Paul,
it is beneficial to be invisible in places like this: you can blend in and time time to watch and compose. I noticed my recent photo was commented on mostly by people who have been in real Morocco :)
Great capture here with a mountain of shrimp and the traditionally dressed lady. I was surprised to see that her feet are also on the table.
Great market scene,

Hello Paul, very good picture of this interesting scene of daily life in the fish market, very well captured in this interesting image, with good sharpness, light, color and quality. A great job perfectly done, my congratulations, my friend. Thanks for sharing this interesting work.

Good night and happy weekend.
All the best from the south of Spain.
