Hello Silvio,
This quiet little street has much charm to commend it, even down to the line of washing, which supplies a colourful focal point. Good management of the light and shadow contrasts. Some beautifully rendered textural detail.

Hello Craig,
A nice slice of daily life in Iceland, not the place you usually associate with al fresco dining. I like the framing and the inclusion of the rather attractive fašade; the lady diners have their attractions as well of course;-) Well realised with excellent colour contrasts.
My post of the Lisbon tram was taken in the Chado district not far from Comercio Square.

Hello Pierre,
The boat along with its reflections supplies a colourful and interesting focal point. I like the lights and colours. Very good sharpness.

Hello Serge,
I like how the boat dominates the frame. The men preparing to put to sea are nicely dispersed and animate the composition. Very well realised with excellent colours and clarity.

Hello Bev,
You have captured the elephant in all its glory, wrinkles and all:-) The size of the ears suggests that it is African, perhaps the owner of the house or a previous owner lived there? Anyway, well spotted and nicely presented.

Hello Nicolas,
An interesting graphical composition made all the more so by the swirling snow whipped up by the wind. Well seen this unusual photo opportunity and nicely realised.

Hello John,
The driver looks a little bit fed up, perhaps he is waiting for his passengers to return? Notwithstanding, he looks very smart sat in his elegant white carriage drawn by a pair of beautiful black horses. The off-centre placement works well, creating an interesting juxtaposition with the equestrian statue on the right. Technical quality is beyond reproach.

Hello Carlo,
A delightful perspective along the Arno with the setting sun nicely framed by the lamp supplying a lovely focal point. Perfectly exposed to capture the beautiful colours in the sky and the fiery reflections along the river. A true pleasure.

Hello Murat,
An image that Gert might describe as 'nothing special' but nevertheless has many interesting details to captivate the viewer. People going about their daily lives enliven the scene. The church provides an attractive focal point with the tree behind. Nicely illuminated with an agreeable blend of colours and good sharpness.

Hello Ryszard,
An image that tells the story of Portugal's chequered past. I like the point of view and the stark contrast between the decorative arch and the sandstone walls. Superb rendering of the colours and textural detail.
