STILL WATER (28)

well timed picture with the horse head between two typical dred doubledeckers. Original green sculpture. But what we see at first is this intriguing sign go home hungry. Take eat easy, they will deliver something to eat to you.
I am still saturated with journeys and have no planes.

Nice picture, elegant buildings as I imagine in Canada. In early spring we can see the view through the trees. Pity for the parking car, always nuisance.

The bows make a great frame within the shot.
Good selection of focus too.

The green/yellow diagonal bottom left is a terrific element here, Carlo. Subtle reflection of the windmill is another good feature.

Hello Takero, Nice to see the scene from the daily life, not any festival, and still so exotic for us. The umbrella is really photogenic and gives a mysterious light on the face. She looks like made from porcelain. superb composition and sharpness as always.
have a nice Sunday

Living on the Lake II (6)

This is my favourite picture from your Inle Lake series, Peter. I actually prefer the daily life finds over the more familiar one-legged rowers. As amazing as they are, I've seen a bit too much of them.
But what makes the picture is not the subject, it's the way it's photographed. Here I absolutley like the inclusionof the scaffolds on the left. The boat is perfectly placed, captured at the just the right time, as it leaves the wooden construcitons behind with its tip going up. And the stilted house in the middle of the picture is another good feature.

Hello dear Lisa,
I see that you have a very sentimental trip to Scotland, seeing the places related to your family roots (and meeting our friends by the way...) Fabulous picture, with this calmness, warm light, mystery. It is great experience to be alone in such a place.

Hello Rob, Beautiful details from this cathedral. Nice tiny Gothic arches, beautiful painted column. well chosen and nicely presented in difficult light. I am intrigued what is near the column, like two eyes observing.
Have a nice Sunday
